SECURITY PLANS, REVIEWS AND AUDITS

CPA staff have been involved in the development, writing, and auditing of Maritime Security Plans since the inception of MTOFSA. These services have been provided to such companies as Port of Brisbane Corporation, Port Of Townsville, Ports Corp Queensland, Port of Gladstone, Dampier Port Authority, Port of Gove, Maritime Safety Queensland, Port Of Sydney, Australian Helicopters, Rio Tinto, BP, Caltex, Patrick Corporation and DP World plus many other providers. The writing and auditing of the various Maritime Security Plans covered all aspects of Port Operators, Port Facilities and Port Service Providers. Consideration has also been given to shipping operations within the various Security Regulated Ports as well as compliance obligations.

Corporate Protection Australia is well placed to conduct an External Audit of the Port Security Plan for your operation. We can also conduct a Security Site Survey and Risk Assessment of the Port and Facilities against your plan. The Security Site Survey and Risk Assessment will be conducted in accordance with the Government recognised International Standard AS/NZS 4360:2004.

DRILLS AND EXERCISES

Corporate Protection Australia has written and facilitated numerous desk top and scenario based test events for various Ports and Port Facilities around Australia. These have included test events “Black Watch” and “Maverick” for the Port of Brisbane Corporation and the Port of Townsville where the response to the situation was tested against the outcomes required under the Port Security Plan.

These exercises have ranged from Facilitation desk top exercises involving a small group of stakeholders to whole of Port test events involving all Port Facilities, Port Service Providers, Port Security, Emergency Services and Australian Defence Force personnel on a large scale basis.
